'The Time to Act Is Now' -- California School Makes Fentanyl Mini-Film
LAST UPDATED:
A California school community released a mini-film on the fentanyl epidemic, showing how America's #1 drug threat can impact students and their families.
As fentanyl "continues to spread rapidly in California, we wanted our Modesto City Schools Students to...BE AWARE...BE SAFE...AND BE INFORMED," said the Johansen High School Viking Production Network in Modesto, Calif. "We hope this mini-film opens some eyes to this horrible drug, changes a few students' lives...and maybe even saves someone's life."
The DEA Laboratory has found that, of the fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills analyzed in 2022, six out of ten now contain a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl. This is an increase from DEA’s previous announcement in 2021 that four out of ten fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills were found to contain a potentially lethal dose.
