'I Have Been Reborn': Recovering Young Addict Offers Hope to Others

(Today, Dec. 27) Nicole was a good student from Falmouth, Massachusetts who started using drugs at 13 to build her self-confidence. Her drugs began with marijuana, alcohol, Adderall, and others. Soon after, she moved to harder drugs: Ecstasy, cocaine, and prescription painkillers. By 17 she was addicted to opiates. As a high school honors student with a dream of studying criminal justice, she was forced to drop out of college when her addiction turned to heroin.
