Alleged K2 Dealer Speaks of Drug's Grip on Downtown Dallas

(WFAA, Jan. 29) Dominick Harrell is a K2/ Spice dealer on the streets of Dallas who's seen all the different varieties and its effects. Recently, he's warned about one version called "Brainfreeze" which has accounted for numerous overdoses and reactions. K2/ Spice is a synthetic version of marijuana made up of dried leaves and chemicals designed to mimic marijuana's effects, but Dallas has been seeing a lot of overdoses and negative reactions to the drug in recent weeks. People prefer it because it can be sold legally in many parts of the country, and it doesn't show up on drug tests. Harrell, hoewver, was arrested on charges related to its sale, along with two others. They face a life sentence on a first-degree felony, the first-ever first-degree felony arrests for selling K2 in Dallas. READ MORE.
