Pot is a \"Gateway Drug\" to Alcohol Abuse

(Newser, Feb. 21) New research published in Drug and Alcohol Dependence shows that smoking marijuana increases vulnerability to develop an alcohol abuse disorder. Marijuana increased the chances of a disorder by 5.4 times. Researches compared the findings to other drug uses, but only marijuana was tied to later dependence on alcohol. READ MORE.
