(Public News Service, March 21) Prescription drug overdose is the leading cause of calls to poison centers in Ohio. The age ranges from toddlers who accidentally ingest prescription meds, to teengers trying to abuse the pills, to seniors who become confused by the number of medications they are taking and when. Nearly 18,000 Ohio residents die each year from drug overdose.
