(KARE, May 13) Minnesota is experiencing a rise in drug overdose deaths, according to statistics from the Minnesota Department of Health. Deaths increased 11 percent between 2014 and 2015, and is four times greater than 2000. The leading drugs responsible for those deaths in 2015 were opioid painkillers, heroin, and methamphetamines, benzodiazepines, and cocaine.
