Friends, Relatives Come Together to Remove Stigma Tied to Addiction

(The Post Star, May 22) Brittany Townsend and her mother joined up on the Remove the Stigma fundraiser in New York in memory of his brother, Nico, who died of an overdose. As a result, Brittany has been working to overcome on her own addiction. The idea of the fundraiser was to connect with other families to get help and to get the word out to the state that people need recovery help.
