Study: Teens' Likelihood of Trying Marijuana Peaks at 16, 18

(News4JAX, June 29) A new study shows that teens' curiosity about marijuana may actually peak at certain ages and then fall off. The study, conducted at the University of Florida, found that teens' interest tends to peak at 16 and 18. Unfortunately, researchers point out, a lot of marijuana intervention programs tend to target students at age 15 and older, which is already too late. Instead, students as young as fourth and fifth grade should be educated about drugs. READ MORE.
