(Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel, Sept. 6) There were 12 deaths over the Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, alone, according to reports. They ranged in age, gender, and race, as well as drug of choice and geography, so none were related to a bad batch of drugs circulating the street as typical overdose spikes are. Prescription drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at the suspected overdose sites. Ten victims had histories of drug abuse, and one had been prescribed narcotics for pain. READ MORE.
