2nd Person Charged In Death of Teen Who Took Prescription Drugs at House Party

(Washington Post, Sept. 15) A 19-year-old Virginia man has been charged in the death of a 17-year-old. Daniel Armando Urrego distributed the morphine pill at killed Alexia Springer. He is the second person to be charged in her death. 18-year-old David Evers, one of her classmates, pleaded guilty for trading the pill for an oxycodone. Both were among 20-30 other students at a house party where they snorted the drugs in the basement bathroom. Springer went home and was found dead later; toxicology reports found alcohol, morphine, oxycodone, and Xanax in her system. READ MORE.
