Students, stress and a snapshot of drug use at Chapman

(The Panther, Nov. 19) A survey taken at Chapman University showed than 81 percent of students had done drugs this year. Marijuana led in the top choice, followed by cocaine and Adderall, the prescription drug provided to those suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. However, Adderall is misused by students who are not prescribed the drug as a method of staying alert and focused to study. Nearly 10 percent of those surveyed say they use marijuana more than once a day, although 27 percent of students have said they never tried marijuana. READ MORE.
