Where marijuana is legal, many teens drive while high

(HealthDay News, February 6) More teens drive while high on marijuana in states where the drug is legal, according to a new study from the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health.
In 2016 and 2017, the school’s researchers surveyed 50 law enforcement agencies in California and Colorado to get a closer look at underage marijuana use and its effect on marijuana-impaired driving.
They found that both underage use and marijuana-impaired driving is either “somewhat” or “very common,” according to all of the agencies surveyed. Read more.
