(Rutgers, December 13) From 2000 to 2015, the number of teens overdosing from benzodiazepines (medication commonly used to treat anxiety) increased 54%, according to a study published in the journal Clinical Toxicology.
Researchers looked at data from almost 300,000 benzodiazepines cases reported to U.S. Poison Control Centers during that 15-year timeframe. Read more.
