Heroin Users Shooting Up While Driving, Police Say

(Columbus Dispatch, Dec. 7) Ohio has been seeing a rise of heroin users shooting up while driving, police say. In southwestern Ohio, where the heroin epidemic has hit the community hard, dangerous drivers are adding to the accidents and overdoses caused by the drug. There were 107 heroin-related deaths in Butler County in the first nine months of 2015, compared to 103 in all of 2014. Now, cops are responding to traffic accidents in which a driver is passed out in a moving vehicle or are being pulled over with needles in their arms. READ MORE.
