Keys to Preventing Teen Substance Abuse

It's a good time to talk to them about drugs and alcohol, and make sure they have something to do in their free time. Younger kids can participate in summer camp, and should be encouraged to choose a camp themselves, which shows trust. Another option is to have them find a job that interests them.
