School counselors learn drug trends among local students

(KBTX, Nov. 3) School counselors in Texas were shocked to find out how children and teens can easily hide drugs in plain sight. The counselors received an alcohol and drug awareness training program to help students in schools who might be abusing drugs. They learned how school-aged children are constantly sent hidden messages about drugs in music and even their clothing, but not all students are aware that wearing a piece of clothing means they're in the drug culture.
