Study finds Americans more likely to see opioid crisis nationally than locally

(The Guardian, July 26) Most Americans don’t believe there is a drug problem in their own communities, according to a new survey.
The survey was conducted by the Laguna treatment hospital in California. It found that 13 percent of respondents from southern states and 10 percent respondents from the northeast felt “drugs posed a crisis in their own communities.” Read more.
